I’m an actor/director living and working in Texas. I’m passionate about the importance of story, the rhythms of language, and the power of our connected humanity. Creating theater that demands “what does it mean to be alive?” and that shows us we are not alone is my “Why.”

In the words of the poet Joy Sullivan, I want to “articulate the strange/confusing/exhausting nature of being human.”

(Also, have fun! Life is too short not to.)

I’m currently available for directing and teaching engagements.

Hiya :)

Since moving back to North Texas 20 years ago, I’ve been in or helmed over 100 professional shows. I’ve won a bunch of awards, collaborated with some brilliant artists, trained extensively in Shakespeare, Clown, Meisner, physical movement and voice. I’ve flown as an Angel, gotten killed every night on the Moors, and conjured every character in a dark holiday tale from a guardian of the Underworld to an invisible sprite with an attitude. I’ve led others with Big Love and precise passion, and made friends and repeat collaborators along the way. Way before all of that, I graduated from the BFA Conservatory at UT Austin (at the time, 6th in the nation in actor training grounds), and studied dance for over 15 years.

Apart from my theatrical life, I’m an avid knitter, yogi, nascent bookbinder, multi-media artist, student of French, wearer of cowboy boots, propper-upper of a 120 year old house, mom of one of my favorite beings in the multiverse, and wife to my best friend. I share all of this, because theater is not fully realized if one is not also Living A Life. Bonjour, howdy & bienvenue.
